Project Description
Everyone has seen at least one local commercial, and sometimes once you’ve seen it you’ve seen them all. This is especially true with retirement living. Every single commercial shows a nurse caring for a resident, a resident enjoying his or her dinner, being active with friends they’ve made – and the music is always so sweet it give the viewer cavities.
We decided to show our viewers the same thing, a day in the life, but we needed to encapsulate that day in 30-seconds, in a fast-paced, fun way that didn’t look like anyone else’s idea. So we brought in our actors and we rehearsed, and rehearsed, and rehearsed. Both of the commercials we filmed that day were filmed in one take, and all of the audio parts were recorded in our studio and added later.
